ABOUT US

From its first season in 1976, The Lutheran Chorale has shared its love of music with the front range community, performing a rich variety of musical works, with a special emphasis on the abundant choral tradition of the Lutheran Heritage. Under the direction of David Hodel, the Chorale has performed major works by composers such as Bach, Handel, Brahms, and Verdi, as well as contemporary anthems, spirituals, secular pieces, and motets.

The Chorale numbers approximately 50 members and has also recently added friends and voices in collaboration with local area choirs and The Lakewood Symphony. Performances include 6 to 8 major concerts each season, as well as special events such as fund-raisers, civic organizations, dedications, conventions, etc. The Chorale has also sung the National Anthem at major Denver sports stadiums. World tours have taken us to Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Scandinavia, New Zealand, Australia, Fiji, and the British Isles.

New singers are always welcome. Membership is open to anyone who enjoys learning and singing great music with singers of all ages. Please consider joining us this season. All voices are welcome.  No auditions are required.
